Prof. Dr. FAn liu
Fan Liu graduated from Fudan University, Shanghai, with a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences. She then joined the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Michael Goshe at North Carolina State University, where she obtained her PhD in Biochemistry in 2013. She carried out her postdoctoral research in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Albert Heck at Utrecht University, The Netherlands.
From May 2017 to October 2026, Fan was Group Leader of the Structural Interactomics group and Head of the Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics research platform at the Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP) in Berlin. From 2020 to October 2026, she also held a W2-S Professorship in Structural Interactomics at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
